Our programme will be for one week, commencing on 14th July 2025 for one week. This year, we are focusing our work experience programme on Year 12 students (or first-year college students) who are aged between 16 and 17. You must be living in the local catchment area. This includes Bath, Chippenham, Corsham, Melksham, Trowbridge, Bradford-on-Avon, Westbury, Frome, Radstock, Keynsham, Brislington and surrounding villages.

The process of completing an application form is a great learning opportunity for you as it reflects that of applying for a job. You can view guidance to help you to complete a good quality application form on our help with applying web page.

If you are from a disadvantaged background or under-represented group, we encourage you to apply in line with the University's commitment to increasing the diversity and social mobility of our student and staff population.

Demand is high and places are limited so we cannot guarantee a placement, but we will accommodate as many applications as possible. We look forward to hearing from you!

To apply for this placement, click the 'apply now' button on the right-hand side of this page and follow the instructions. Please note, if you have not used our site before, you will be asked to register first.

We are constantly seeking to reduce the unconscious bias that enters any assessment process, with the goal of creating an inclusive and equal assessment process. To support this, personal details will be removed from application forms at the initial shortlisting stage.
