The reception area is currently in operation for general enquiries from Monday to Sunday, 9am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 10pm.
The Virgil Building is only available to current University of Bath students, who are still completing their course. Guests and/or alumni students are not permitted to use the space or facilities.
Maintenance and access issues
Students living in Canal Wharf, Clevelands, Pulteney Court and Eveleigh Waterside, can get help with lost access cards and keys.
The community larder is located downstairs, where you can collect unwanted food and other items, for free. You can also donate items that you no longer need .
Parking
There is limited parking for University staff who have a parking permit. This must be booked in advance. If you have an occasional user permit, use JustPark to validate it.
Complete this form to book a parking space. Once confirmed, you will receive an email and access to the car park will be provided on your library card.
Parking requests are processed daily between 9am and 7pm. Make sure you submit your request with enough time for it to be reviewed and approved. You can view the Virgil Building parking calendar here to see space availability.
Parking in these spaces is not permitted without a booking. For any queries about parking at the Virgil Building, ask at reception or call +44 (0)1225 383039 .
Parking without booking or valid permit may result in parking fine.
Parking is also available at the public Manvers Street car park next to the Virgil Building.
