Vicky supports Core Research Facilities (CRF) operating processes, commercial activities, and Research Infrastructure strategy.
Role
Vicky works within the Research Infrastructure and Facilities service supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of CRF operating processes, commercial activities, and Research Infrastructure strategy.
Career
Vicky studied Law (LLB) at the University of Kent, graduating in 2012. After graduating, she trained as a secondary school teacher in Citizenship, completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Christ Church University, and going on to work as a Lead Teacher and Head of Department of Social Sciences and Religious Education (RE).
After five years in mainstream education, Vicky decided to pursue other career avenues within a higher-education setting and transitioned into Project and Programme Management at an international and specialist Higher Education Institution (HEI) and awarding body. During this time, she worked with cross-functional teams to deliver a range of strategic and operational projects across the organisation.
