Adam Bertscher Public Engagement Assistant

Supporting the delivery of activities that support high-quality public engagement with research.

Role

Adam looks after the administration, communications and operational activities of the Public Engagement Unit to support a positive culture of public engagement with research.

Career

Adam has worked as a public policy researcher, focusing on social and health-related topics, including the commercial determinants of health, global health, disease control program evaluations, healthcare, food policy, impact research, foresight studies, and antimicrobial resistance. He also tutors and guest lectures at the University of Bath and the University of Cambridge. During his PhD studies, Adam completed a position as an Inquiry Manager for the House of Commons Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Select Committee.
