Dr Bike

9:00am – 4:00pm

Bring your bike for a free service, providing a basic safety and maintenance check.

Julian House Bike Workshop's mechanics will check your bike over, including any adjustments and tuning as required to brakes and gears. They can undertake basic repairs free of charge, and if any minor, new parts are required, you will be able to pay for them to be fitted there and then. If your bike requires more work then they can provide you with a quote to have it fixed in their Bath workshop.

Bikes will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bike Marking

9:30am - 3:00pm

Avon and Somerset Police will join us to offer a free bike marking service. You can have your bike marked with a trackable code and registered to the national database. This can help deter thieves and also means that should your bike ever be stolen, if it is found, then it can be identified as yours, and police can track it back to you.

E-bikes and e-scooters

9:30am - 4:00pm

For anyone interested in purchasing an e-bike, there will be an opportunity to try out an e-bike on the day. Local supplier, Take Charge Bikes will be there to give tips and expert guidance about how to use an e-bike, the various options available (from a standard e-bike to cargo options), and to give advice about what to buy for anyone interested to find out more.

9:00am - 3:00pm

Tier e-bikes and e-scooters will be there ready to answer any questions you have regarding their e-bikes and e-scooters that are dotted around Bath and Bristol. You will have the opportunity to test out their e-bikes and e-scooters. If you sign up to the app they will give you a free helmet! Tier offers a 35% discount for University staff and students through the UK Access Scheme.
