Skills Series Interactive has been developed for School of Management alumni and is hosted by Katie Calvert-Jones, Head of International Engagement and Alumni. These sessions are designed to be short and useful for our alumni, offering practical knowledge and skills.

Who is this event for?

If you are curious about ChatGPT's power to transform your work and decision-making processes this event is for you. Embark on a journey looking at the basics of AI to the practical applications of ChatGPT. Discover how this technology is revolutionising the way we work, enhancing creativity, and solving complex problems. Explore real-world applications, look at risks and limitations, and envision the future of AI.

Alumna Minisha Goel, comes from a consulting and tech background and is now the founder of AIbyMG, an AI consultancy which focuses on simplifying AI for business. Minisha combines expertise in business operations and AI to empower teams to use generative AI to streamline repetitive tasks and increase team productivity.

In this session Minisha will cover:

  • The importance of AI in today's data-driven world
  • Introduction to OpenAI & ChatGPT
  • The benefits of using ChatGPT
  • Practical uses of ChatGPT in business (demo)
  • Ethical and societal implications
  • Mitigating risks associated with AI technologies

On Thursday 4 July you have two opportunities to attend this session which will run live at the following times:

To register you will need to provide your ID which is included in your email invitation.

Just register once and you will be provided with links to both sessions. You are welcome to attend either session.

If you have not received an invitation please email alumni@management.bath.ac.uk and request your ID by providing your first name, surname, date of birth, most recent course of study and year of completion.

‘Skills Series Interactive’ has been developed to offer practical knowledge and skills for School of Management alumni. To encourage attendee interaction these sessions will not be recorded.
