Centre of Excellence in Water-Based Early-Warning Systems for Health Protection group members
We’re working to transform public and environmental health management, developing an early warning system for diseases using water-based systems.
Our vision is to transform public and environmental health management by establishing the first Urban Living Lab facility in Water-Based Early Warning Systems for Health Protection.
We hope the facility will deliver state-of-the-art analytical capability (a digital water-sensing platform), a training base, an ideas hub and a whole-system testing infrastructure that brings together sensing, mathematical modelling, data analytics and informatics, with epidemiology and public engagement tools. The result will be low-cost and real-time community-wide profiling of population health and the environment.
