Working collaboratively to enhance our research culture, accelerate research impact and support the University’s Research Excellence Framework (REF) submission.

We are responsible for:

  • improving the University's Research Culture: putting people at the heart of research and innovation
  • enhancing our University’s Research Impact: helping to increase the proportion of our research that makes a difference to the world
  • overseeing the delivery of our ESRC and EPSRC Impact Acceleration accounts
  • strengthening our University’s Research Excellence Framework submission
  • managing the University Research Information System, Pure, and reporting systems, Agresso and ResearchFish
  • collaborating internally and externally to deliver on our responsibilities
