The Chaplaincy led a two minute period of silent reflection on 24 October to reflect on the grief and pain members of our University community have suffered in relation to the catastrophic events in Israel and Gaza.

Our community gathered together to mourn the loss of lives, to remember those who are suffering, to remind and reinforce our shared humanity, to be a source of comfort to one another and in the hope of peace.

At the University of Bath, the bonds of community, listening and compassion underpin our work and we hope that these bonds will support us and be strengthened through these painful times.
