The University of Bath has improved its overall ranking in the The Daily Mail University Guide rankings for 2025, gaining one place to 9th in the United Kingdom.

The University performed particularly strongly on graduate employability, being 3rd in the UK on securing high-skilled jobs, 6th on career progression, and 7th on graduate salaries. Student experience also ranked highly at 7th in the UK, and the University was in the top 10 institutions for first and 2:1 degrees.

Professor Phil Taylor, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bath, said: “Thanks to the talent and hard work of our staff and students, the University of Bath has improved its position within the top 10 ranking in this guide. I am especially pleased to see we have ranked so highly in key areas such as job outcomes, graduate salaries and future career path.

“Our graduates enjoy some of the best career prospects in the country, and our staff seek to give our students the best support and experience possible. I’d like to thank everyone in our University community who has worked hard to make this possible.”
