Sport, exercise and health

Undergraduate courses starting in 2025

By studying sport, exercise and health, you can explore the impact of physical activity, nutrition and lifestyle on individuals and societies.

Our courses address the science of sport and health. They cover topics like coaching and elite performance, factors that influence people’s health and wellbeing, and the organisation of leisure and physical activity.

They're taught by experts in sports and exercise science, public health, and coaching. Their research in areas like behavioural science, biochemistry, biomechanics, injury prevention, management, nutrition and metabolism, sociology, and sport psychology contributes to the units you’ll study.

Graduates have gone on to work in elite sports science, exercise medicine, education, management, coaching and development, and public health.

You can study a sport, exercise and health degree whether you’re a sporty person or not.
